Update

Sorry about the lack of entries in the last 3 months or so. Much time is spent on moving and unpacking (they aren't done yet), and whatever leisure time left over was spent on Flames of War and tank painting.

FoW seems to be the defacto hobby activity nowadays. I have a regular opponent who meets every week and my US Mech and Ge Grenadier company gets steady actions. Last few weeks we had some interesting match using the Para-landing scenario from the D-1 book. They are interesting and hard fought although not a balanced setup.

Hobby expenditure-wise: recent purchases includes a lot of cool building from Crescent Root Studio (nice prepainted 15mm building at a reasonable price), and a FoW Late War Russian Tank force from ccgarmory.com (one of my fav miniature mail order house who offers good FoW discount at 20%). I just finished spraying the base color on the Russian so that'll probably keep me busy for the next few weeks. (I need to do some rescuing work since I found out that a new can of Tamiya spray paint isn't enough to cover an entire Soviet Tankovey company!)
